"Enable parent page sidebar on child pages" - Setting doesn't work

Hey there,

I have created a custom side bar, but the setting “Enable parent page sidebar on child pages” doesn’t seem to work.

Here’s the setting (In Appearance > Sidebars):

As you can see on the image, the setting is toggled on, and the parent category “Stole” has the sidebar applied. However, the child category “Fletstole” does not have the sidebar applied (https://designerstuen.dk/vk/fletstole)

What could the reason be?

Thanks for posting in!

Regretfully the option is for pages and sub pages only. It does not apply to categories and sub categories. We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
