Enable comments on pages

Hello guys
I am using wpdiscuz plug in for the comments.
I can see that I cannot enable comments on pages.
It’s this a theme issue or I have to ask the plugin people?

I can only see this (screenshot) in the back end but it’s useless, different from what I have in the posts…

It’s not a theme issue, please check this https://www.bloggersprout.com/fix-wordpress-comments-are-closed/. It’s usually due to WP settings and other hooks.
