Hello. I noted that the WordPress Plugins page now offers an “Enable Auto Update” option for plugins. We use three Pro Theme “extensions:” UberMenu, Envira and Slider Revolution. As I understand it, I am supposed to let Themeco push out new extension versions after you have validated them; and that I am not supposed to update them myself. Given this, what is the correct setting for this new WordPress plugin page option? Can Themeco continue to push out updates if I set it these three to “Disable Auto Update?”

When you set you an auto update to your plugins and then once there’s an update to the said plugin, it will automatically updated. If you disable the auto update, themeco can still push out updates but you need to manually update the plugins to the latest version. I also suggest that you disable the auto update because it might break your website without prior notice.
