Empty cornerstone after migration

Hi there,

I have migrated my site to different name.
Everything is functioning (fonts were not working, but I found solution), except almost all my pages. Weirdly some are functioning normally like homepage. I think it affected pages made back with old X, not pages made in the Pro. I can see all the info when I edit the page, but opening cornerstone they are blank, like they have never been created.

I can ask my provider for week old data backup, but will they be useable to retrieve the cornerstone data or is it all lost due to wrong migration? (I have not made any changes in last 14days)

Credentials etc. in secure note

Hello @vojtechzikmund,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site it seems that the page has been edited outside of the cornerstone page builder just because you are getting this classic shortcode on the page content edit mode. I would suggest you please contact your hosting provider to restore the previous database backup or in case you have a previous database backup you need to restore it.

Hope it helps
Thanks

My question is… because I cannot reverse the migration and the backup is from the previous domain name, will that be worth anything? What would be the process if I get the data from the provider? They can provide me with ftp backup from week back.

Hi @vojtechzikmund,

The Cornerstone shows the Page or Posts which are stored in the database, FTP backup only provides the backup of your files. Now coming to your problem, after migrating from one domain to another, you need to replace the older domain name with the newer domain name. I would suggest you go through the following article and if possible repeat the steps to migrate it again.

Thanks
