Embedded videos showing up as white box

Hi

When I embed videos in my site, they show up in the cornerstone preview window successfully, but on the live site they just show up as big white boxes. Do you know why this is? Please see below for what they show up as on the live site:

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for reaching out.
It has been found that you are still using the older version of the X i.e. 8.1.5, I would suggest you to update the theme by following the below steps.

1. Delete the Cornerstone
2. Update the X theme to the latest version i.e. 8.3.3 on automatic updates
3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

If that does not resolve the issue, I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Child Theme Related issue
3.CSS/JS Customization
4.Disabling Cache

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

I ran into the same issue today and was able to fix it by running the Theme update. It didn’t automatically show up as an update on my Wordpress dashboard, but when I checked, it was there. I don’t know if that will help you at all @jamie2364
