I recently updated to Version: 6.5.6 and now the embedded videos display a 404 page.

Our apologies for the inconvenience. This is a confirmed bug that already has its fixed for the next release. Once the next release will be available, you should be able to run an update to fix this issue.
For now, an option would be to rollback to the latest stable release of X which you will have to do manually through FTP.
You can get a version of the latest stable release from your dashboard.
