Embedded video playing in Firefox but not Chrome

Hi folks,

I have two videos which I am trying to embed on this page: https://kilura.com/travel-insurance/

I am using the Player option and running Integrity.

the video urls are https://player.vimeo.com/video/262027017 & https://player.vimeo.com/video/144346848

The videos play fine when I check in firefox but on chrome when i hit play it just hangs for a second and then nothing happens.

Any possible reason / fix for this?

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s indeed slow but it plays eventually on my chrome. May I know what OS and Chrome version you’re on? Plus, these are Vimeo videos and something you can’t control through your site if there is really an issue between their Vimeo player and the browser.

That’s okay no worries I will contact Vimeo, roughly how long did it take before it played actually?

It took a while to load the video.

Please keep in mind that if you select embed code, you will need to use this:

<iframe id="mejs_052284438850858095_vimeo_iframe" width="0" height="0" frameborder="0" src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/262027017" webkitallowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" allowfullscreen="" data-ready="true"></iframe>

If you are hosting your video in a 3rd party site like Vimeo, embed code is highly suggested.
