Embedded Form on Home Page

Say, trying to get the embedded form to work on this home page. https://thepostlincoln.com/. We are using WPforms. The form we created for this is [wpforms id=“238”]. What do we need to change below so this will work? Thank you.

Hi @rkassebaum,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the URL and found two forms added to that page which are working fine, are you pointing to those? If not, please let us know more about it. If yes, please let us know what are the difficulties you are facing in these forms.

Thanks

So, when I fill out the form it’s not working. Going to page not found. It didn’t add the email address to the WPForms form that was created.

Hi @rkassebaum,

It seems that the Confirmation Redirect URL page does not exist anymore for this specific form. I would suggest you check and add another confirmation page.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

I did create a confirmation URL page. However, still getting the same issue. I noticed this is using gform. We actually are using wpforms. Should this be switched?

Hi @rkassebaum,

If you are using the WP Form, you need to mention the confirmation URL. If you are using any other plugin, we need to investigate it further for the issue. I would suggest please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: Please note that we don’t provide any support to 3rd Party plugins or related issues.

Thanks

Here is login information.

Hey @rkassebaum,

The form component is still using the one from the Personify demo. You will have to edit the page and the footer so that you can replace the current form with the WP Form that you have just created.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

I did make the change as you suggested on the one form. How can we make the fields the same length as before? You can see where you type the email address it is very short. Also, this box doesn’t line up with the the right red submit box.

Hi @rkassebaum,

That is not usually possible in WP Form, but you can do that by using the custom CSS code. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you with the customization, or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer questions beyond normal theme support.
Please go through the following article on this.

I have created a test form and added a full-width class and respective CSS to it. You may need to adjust the Submit Button style while submitted or any error will show.

Please remember that the above code will work if copied as it is and doesn’t conflict with any existing style.
Please note that the code provided serves only as a guide to help you get started custom coding on your own if there’s no option offered in our theme or the products we bundle.
We really do not provide support for custom codes which means we can’t fix it in case it conflicts with something on your site nor will we enhance it. Further customization should be directed to a third-party developer or you can avail of One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks
