Embed video fullscreen button missing

Hi!

I have embed videos from Vimeo to my webpage, but the fullscreen button is missing in player end view


I found this answer from Vimeo: https://vimeo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015759768-Fullscreen-button-missing-from-the-player.
Are there any frame tags I should remove or how can I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that any embed videos are not coming up with the Fullscreen option in your site, I have tried with the different settings mentioned in the URL, and also tried with the different videos and the result was the same.
Please find the test page URL: https://eftmaailm.ee/test-by-themeco/ where I have tried with different videos that are having the fullscreen option in other sites.

There might be a different reason behind the issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot a few common issues:

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Child Theme Related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization

If you find that the issue related to any 3rd Party plugin, I would recommend you to contact the plugin developer in that case.
if none of the above helps, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thank you for the answer,.
Unfortunately I don’t have enough knowledge to follow your suggestion. I don’t have any coding experience, but have managed to build this site with some support in your forum here.
If it’s a theme related issue or child theme related issue wouldn’t you be able to check that? You could at least confirm then that the problem is not coming from your theme. My site is really very simple and I have only made a few additions in the CSS or php.

The videos ARE showing in fullscreen on my front page here, I just checked it:


So it can’t be a site-wide problem

Hi Eva,

The Smush plugin was the cause of the issue, I checked and resolved the issue by disabling the said plugin.

Hi again,
Something happened to my main menu - the background is dark instead of white and the font changed and the placement too. I have not seen this happening before.
Could this happen due to the changes you made?

Ok, I found it, Ubermenu plugin was turned ON, when I turned it off, the menu looks as it should.
All good now!
