Embed post text into page

Hi there,

This might be a stupid question for some but it’s doing my head in.

Can i embed only the text from a post onto a page? For example on a column, text element and then display the text from a post? I hear you asking why? So other people who shouldn’t be messing around in cornerstone are given the option to edit the text in a post when that post is updated, so is the text on a certain page.

Hope that’s clear enough xD I looked at all the elements in my pro but i don’t see anything useful. PErhaps the excerpt?

Yes, you can insert a post text or post content into a page. What you need to do is to run a Looper Provider-Consumer first and then display the post text using a Text element via a dynamic content shortcode {{dc:post:the_content}}.
