Email forms back end question

HI - I have email forms working with Mail Chimp. The form looks fine on the home page. We don’t really need MailChimp to send emails though - we just need to collect the subscriber information. MailChimp does not generate individual email subscriber notifications back to us unless we have double-opt in enabled.

We have other forms on the site with Ninja Forms plugin. In those cases the form submissions update tables in the wordpress database, and generate emails back to us with the information from each form submission. This type of functionality would also work well for us on the home page (Email Forms) form.

I can’t get NInja Forms to display a form on our home page in the same way that Email Forms plugin does. (very nice integration with X).

Hence my question: is there a way to get Email Forms to work in a similar fashion to the way Ninja Forms works (without a backend connection to an email service)?

Thanks.

Hi Richard,

You can use the Ninja Form on your home page by placing the shortcode inside the content area.
You can use the raw_content element to show the shortcode for specific forms.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
