Email Form required field symbol

Hi,
I’m building a new website and am using the “email form” for the first time. What I’ve noticed is that the form displays required fields differently than the “contact form” plugin. In the “contact form” plugin, the required fields say “(required)”, where as the “email form” has an asterisk (*) to show that it’s a required field. I would like to make both forms consistent and am wondering how I can change the label of a required field to say “(required)” on the “email form” plugin. Here’s an image of both forms to show what I mean:

Thanks,
Renzo.

Hey Renzo,

Regretfully, our Email Forms plugin does not have an option to change the required field symbol. If it’s allowed, you can change the require field label of Contact Form 7 to asterisk instead. Just in case you don’t know, you can do that by editing your form and look for the text inside the form editor.

Alternatively, you can use Contact Form 7 as an email form by connecting MailChimp to it using third-party plugins. Here are a couple of examples:

Please just note that those are examples and not recommendations and we do not have support for third-party plugins. You’ll need to contact the plugin developer in case you’ll have questions or issues.

Hope that helps.
