Email encoder for header

Hi all,

After some advice on email encoding. In the past i’ve used a simple plugin (email address encoder) but it seems that this will only crawl the pages, posts etc for addresses and leaves the address in the header, footer visible in the page source. Wondering if anyone has any other suggestions on how to make this plugin work or an alternative that they have or do use that works in the header and footer.
