Elementor plugin error - This element could not render due to invalid markup. You may have unclosed HTML tags in your content

I am using Pro version 4.3.3. I am getting the error as in image attached. I am guessing if the console js error is removed Pro will work again. I can still edit the contents and save them.
I have “Elementor”(version 3.8.0) and “Elementor Pro”(version 3.8.0) plugins installed and when I deactivate any of these the Pro edit works fine but these plugin are much needed and cannot be deactivated.
However when i copy the site to staging all works well. This is happening to all Edit with Pro like header, footer, content etc. Cloud you give me solution to this while retaining the Elementor plugins ASAP. Thank you

Hi @markcfrancis,

Thanks for reaching out.
The said plugin and the Cornerstone have been used at a time by many users but never reported such an issue. As it is a 3rd Party plugin, I would suggest you contact the Plugin Author on this once and before that, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to recognize the reason.

  1. Theme Related Issue
  2. Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update related issue
  4. Child Theme Related issue
  5. CSS/JS Customization

And if you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or any other 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact that plugin author.
Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and any 3rd party plugin issues.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice and I understand there is a conflict but Elementor is working without any issue and therefore Elementor are unable to assist. It’s PRO that is not working as per the screenshot above. The Pro theme editor is stating that there may be unclosed HTML tags which is not the case since we have checked using the edit the box in the left hand content box so it’s the WYSIWYG editor block not working and a PRO related error. Would appreciate some further assistance here please to resolve this issue.

Hey @markcfrancis,

This issue only happens on your web host and/or WordPress setup. As my colleague said, we have many customers using Elementor and our development team has tested this as well, and Pro is working.

You will need to investigate this issue on your own or with your developer because the conflict is with your web host and Elementor. This is not a bug in Pro.

If you want us to check your WordPress setup and provide insights as what causes the conflict, please consider subscribing to our One Premium Support.

Lastly, we do not provide support for 3rd party plugin conflicts, whether it breaks the plugin or Pro.

Thank you for understanding.
