Either "name" or "item.name" should be specified

Hello,
I have been receiving this error in my google console “Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified”.
I checked all the previous topics in the forum but can’t find the solution.
Could you please assist to solve it? I have 90 pages affected and increasing every day.

Thanks,

Julian

Hi Julian,

Thank you for reaching out to us. It sounds like a third party plugin or a script is throwing an error. Try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue remains then please check for the following first:

  1. THEME UPDATE
  2. CHILD THEME
  3. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  4. DISABLING CACHE
  5. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

If you still have problems then please get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thanks!

Hello Julian,

Did the errors appear lately? The issue could be because you are using an incompatible version of the theme, the X theme 8.3.3 while you are using the latest version of Cornerstone 6.0.6. Can you please update the X theme to version 9.0.6 instead? After the update, please make sure to clear all your plugin caches and browser cache and test the site again. If the issue still exists, It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Testing for Plugin Conflict
Theme Update
Child Theme
Disabling Cache
Disabling CDN

Best Regards.
