Editor text size enormous versus correct front end rendering

Hi,

An old Pro site which renders correctly on the front end - has enormous text in the editor, see screenshot.

Edit view on the left, front end in Chrome on the right.

I can’t inspect the elements with a right mouse click as I’m in the editor.

Thanks, Bill.

Hi Bill,

It seems that the Headline element style has been overridden by the specific element style. Please check the screenshot describing the attributes.

If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Steps to replicate:

  1. Login to the site
  2. Go to the home page
  3. Edit the page in Pro
  4. Click the hero block to edit the header, answer "go ahead’ to edit the header
  5. The two taglines are enormous and with black text

Thanks

Hello Bill,

We cannot log in to your site. It seems that the username or password is incorrect.

Please double-check it.

I saved a new secure note, sorry for the hassle. Bill.

Hey Bill,

I’ve checked your site and found the culprit. Looks like a regression with responsive text. It’s no longer using .h-responsive as a default selector if one isn’t input. This means every element is getting font-size: 36px across the board in the preview.

I’ve fixed it on that page by just typing in h-responsive but we’ll get it fixed in the next update to restore the original behavior.
