Editing with Theme "X Pro" is very slow. Now comes always an error message

Hello,
from the beginning, editing with X Pro was very slow (waiting time after “Edit with Pro” is clicked). Now I can make no more changes in the theme. The following error message appears: “A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading. Try Again”.
In the knowledge base I have learned that the PHP memory should be increased. The website is hosted by Internetprovider “STRATO” with PHP 5.3 and a PHP memory_limit of 128 MB.
An update to PHP 7.0 or PHP 7.1 and a PHP memory_limit of 256 MB is possible. Are the problems fixed? Are there other minimum requirements for the server?
