Editing with Cornerstone on Ipad (X Theme)

I found a 2015 thread saying cornerstone could not be used on an ipad, due to scrolling issues. Is there no development on this? Its 2017 and I just moved to an iPad pro for many things. I would like to be able to edit my work websites on the go, thus through ipad. I have a 10 inch pro, so plenty screen space, but the scroll of content editor does not work

Thanks

Hi There,

Thanks for your feedback unfortunately the editor works does not work yet with tablets.

I will pass on the suggestion to our developers.

Thank you

Here’s more info on this. I’d like to use a tablet as well.

Using an android device. I can scroll, but I can’t drag elements onto a page. This is true on the latest version of Chrome. On the latest version of Firefox it never finishes rendering the page. There is an initial message that says:

“Loading the preview took longer than expected. There may be script conflicts on this page.”

Thanks for the input, I will add your feedback to our feature request already placed on feature requests list.

Any updates. I just purchased an iPad Pro and saddened to find out the editor does not work on it.

Before I go out and buy another computer just to edit theme x I’d really appreciate an update on this matter.

Thanks

Hi there,

We already added this as a feature request. Please kindly consider that the way the builder is coded is too much complicated to have a support for touch devices. The whole builder is meant to be used by devices having the mouse and the traditional way of the development.

I am sure that the need for support of the touch devices will need a complete overhaul of the base code of the builder which is not feasible at the moment for the percentage of customers using the touch devices for development such as iPad Pro.

I just wanted to set the expectations here, but for sure we added the Feature Request already and if the requests get enough votes our development team will surely consider implementing the feature.

Thank you all for your understanding and making your voice heard.
