Editing in Pro breaks site - displays PHP code

When I click to edit a page in pro, I get a pinwheel and nothing happens. Then the entire site just displays as PHP code and I am unable to do anything in Wordpress. I have to restore the site from a backup just to get back to a point where I can see the site again.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for writing in! Upon testing, I was able to experience this issue but we will require your FTP credentials to check your error logs. You can submit those information using a secure note.

In the meantime, could you please make sure that you’re using the latest version of Pro theme (https://theme.co/changelog/) and also make sure to update your WordPress to v5.x as well.

Further, make sure that you’re running PHP v5.6.x or later to avoid possible incompatibility issues.

I have updated the secure note with SFTP access. The site is using the latest version of PRO, PHP 7.2 and WordPress 5.0.2.

Hi There,

I added a debug.log on your site and its having a database issue, I can’t even login on the admin dashboard because it says “ERROR: Incorrect username or password.”

Try repairing your database by following the guide provided here.

After you successfully repair the database and able to login to admin dashboard, please CLEAR your caching plugin/features.
