Editing child theme requires editing in legacy directory?

Hello! In my last X Theme customization using version 5.1.0, I found myself having to edit theme files in a “legacy” directory to get my changes to work. When I copy the appropriate views directories into the child theme, my header and footer disappear on the live site, and resorting to editing in the legacy directory was the only method I could find to make my changes work. I know I’m doing something wrong and am just trying to figure things out.

Hi There,

That is correct, you need to adjust the files on the legacy folder if it is the correspondent folder of the parent theme.
