E&P Form shows no paypal-form

I use an E&P form with payment via paypal - but no paypal form is shown in the frontend. I’ll send you FE and BE access via secure note.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, this issue seems to have something to do with security. Would you mind removing the .htaccess password for a while and see if that resolves the issue.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hi friech,
I now did remove .htaccess password - same problem. I’ll keep the site open, so that you can test it yourself. Please tell me, when I ca activate the password again.
Best regards
Uli

Hi there,

Unfortunately, I could not find the cause of the problem. I am sure the problem is the settings you have. As their documentation you should enable the PayPal at the last step:

http://www.wordpress-estimation-payment-forms.com/documentation/#collapse28

The options are all in None English language and I could not find the option where you set the Paypal information. Would you please give us the details of how you set the Paypal?

Thank you.

Hi christopher, thank you for your effort to solve the problem.

I temporary switched to english, so you can now see and understand the settings. At the last step, Paypal payment is activated and a valid paypal email-adress is entered. Same problem exeists, if I switch the sandbox-mode on.

Best regards

Uli

Hey Uli,

According to E&P’s documentation, using PayPal, you will be redirected to the payment page. That is not happening though and that is also the case in my test site so this might be a bug. Please use Stripe for now as I’ll post this to our issue tracker.

Thanks.

Hi christian,

thank you for adding it to the bug tracker. Unfortunately, also STRIPE isn’t working correctly (see: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/e-p-form-shows-powerd-by-stripe-instead-of-payment-form/22381/11).

With the .css-hack suggested in this ticket, I can show the fields, but there is no validation so I can order without paying. That’s OK for testing, but not for the live page. The page has to be publishd within the next days, so I need a working payment quite soon.

Is there any hack or workaround, how I can add the payment-code for Paypal and / or STRIPE manually in the E&P form?

Best regards

Uli

Hi there,

The CSS will display it, but, a javascript will usually display that option once it’s done loading and verified that you have correct setup. The system keeps it hidden means it’s not fully working or functional, displaying it with CSS is just forcing it but the functionality will remain unusable.

We have no capability to check and troubleshoot E&P core system so we can’t verify it but we can always add this to our issue tracker. I added both of your thread.

Thanks!
