E&P Form: link and filename of uploads differ using special characters

Hello,
if a document with a special cahracter in its filenam (in this case a german Umlaut) is uploaded, filename and link in the info-mail differ, probably because a wrong coding of special characters:

Example:
Filename: 5152_Anhörung.pdf

Link in mail guides to: 5152_Anho%CC%88rung.pdf (=> not working)
correct coding: 5152_Anh%C3%B6rung (=> working)

What can be done to get the links working?

I can confirm that, but unfortunately, we don’t have direct control over the features of bundled plugins. I’ll add this to our issue tracker and unfortunately, I can’t provide any temporary workaround.

as the E&P Form Builder is a part of the licence I bought, I would like to have it working perfectly.

So it would great if you could tell me (probably after talking to the plugins support) when this bug will be fixed.

so can you ask the people at E&P when this bug will be solved?
Right now, my customer can’t use it’s website the way he needs to, because important documents for new orders are not available for him.

Hi Uli,

I understand the frustration, although the developer of the plugin usually doesn’t give an exact timeline for it. They do have their own process of fixing things. Although we can report it, we don’t have control on the timeline on there end. The department for this request are already notified.

Hi Uli,

Unfortunately, there is no news about the issue as of yet. The communication for 3rd party plugin issues are mostly between developers only (our developers and their developers). And just like other plugins, fixes may not be immediate and sometimes they include it to their next updates.
