E&P form builder not going to next step

Hello,

I created a form using the E&P form builder and it was working fine for a while but now it won’t go to next step.

http://x.aiadstaging.com.au/projects/saferemovals.com.au/book-my-move/

There are no errors in console, no errors in cPanel so I am at a loss as to what it could be.

I did notice that when I hover over the next step button, in the bottom left hand side of the screen where the url normally displays for a href links, it says javascript:

I have also tested this on multiple devices using different IP’s so it is not a caching issue.

HELP PLEASE!

Thank you

Hello @aiad_development,

Thanks for the very detailed post information. I have inspected the site and yes there are no JS errors or conflicts in the console that might have caused the issue. Can you please confirmed that you have update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 6.5.6
  • Cornerstone 3.5.5
  • E&P Form 9.674

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

_After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-

Please let us know how it goes.

Hello,
I do not have any updates pending on Cornerstone or E&P
My versions are:

  • X Theme 6.5.5
  • Cornerstone 3.5.4
  • E&P builder 9.671

The form worked fine about 2 weeks ago. Before wanting to push the website LIVE, I updated all the plugins / wordpress / themes.

Hi @aiad_development,

Please go to your plugins section and deactivate WP Cost Estimation & Payment Forms Builder plugin. You might as well click delete the plugin. Now, go back to X > Validation > Extensions so that the latest version 9.6741 will be installed.

Please let us know how it goes.

I deleted the plugin then added it again and had to create the form from scratch.

I only did the first 2 steps but again it does not work.

Hi @aiad_development,

I did some troubleshooting and I found nothing from the plugins, but, when I created a test page it works okay. Perhaps the culprit is added on your page content too, I saved it as a template and start deleting one at a time and the issue never goes away. Hence, the step I could recommend for now is re-create that page content again while your form shortcode is there.

Thanks!
