E&P Form Builder: counting steps

Hi there,
I use a e&p form whre I now want to activate the progress-bar for steps. But the counting of the steps doesn’t seem correct for me.
My form has two different branches depending on what has been entered in step two. Branch one has three more steps, branch two has two more steps. So depending on what is chosen in step two, the complete form has 5 or 4 steps.

In the frontend, the progressbar shows “1/3” in step one, “2/3” in step two and then changes to “2/5” or “2/6” depending on the selected fields. But there is no way to finish the form with 3 steps, so “1/3” is a misleading information for the user that should not be shown. How can I change this, so that 1/5 or 1/6 is shown in the first step?
