Dynamic Tabs Component: First Tab Renders Broken In Cornerstone Editor

Hey Themeco,

I created a dynamic Tab component with the Tab element and a list parameter, so that my customer only needs to enter the content in the section settings. The list is feeded via looper to the Tab, so that tabs and its content get generated from list parameter data.

The output in the frontend is fine.

But in Cornerstone editor after I created an instance of the tab component, the rendering of the content of the first tab is broken. Instead there is a blue empty border. If I click the other tabs, everythings works as expected.

Thanks for reaching out.
Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us recognize the issue you are having. We need to examine your site to determine the cause of the issue. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Exact page URL where you have added the video element.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

here are the informations as requested:

In Cornerstone Editor the dynamic tab element is in Components / Molecules: Content Elements

Here the Tabs are working as expected

I created a test page for you in Pages / Tabs Test.
Here you will find an instance of the dynamic Tabs component with the error as described in the first post.
The idea is to change the content only in the right pane via list parameter (not in the Tabs element itself).
The whole idea works, but the first tab is displayed broken in the editor (frontend is ok):

I have a taken a look and appreciate the example. There’s a couple of instances where using loopers with components has weird issues like this one in the preview. I’ll have to take another look to try and get a fix and see what’s going wrong too. Thanks have a great day!
