Dynamic image description field

Hello!

I have added an image element and i’d like it to show the description of that image that was added in the image library.

I thought i could do this dynamically using the dynamic tags that PRO provides but i see that they are a bit too brad (feature image, post, etc) and not for the specific image i’m using with the image element in pro.

Is there any way to achieve this? I’m saying this because i noted that PRO allows me to add the alt text but not the description and i’m wondering how i can retrieve it with PRO without resorting to code (which we can do, but we always try the “no code” approach first to provide a better experience to the clients).

Hi Frantic,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can get the Description of an image by using the Image ID which you can get by clicking the images in the Media menu, as shown in the given screenshot. As WordPress store attachments or medias as a post, you can get the description by using the {{dc:post:excerpt post=“1872”}}.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
