Dynamic Content Fallback

Hello there,

Using dynamic content opens the way to really awesome and creative use case.

Currently, we’re still a bit limited with how we can use Dynamic Content as it’s not possible to use conditionals as I reported around June 2019 (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/using-conditionals-with-dynamic-content/59236). Hope this can be improved soon.

Although conditionals with DC would solve our problem, an intermediary approach and maybe something simpler to develop on your end would be to be able to at least configure a fallback or a default value if the DC returns an empty value.

Is it possible to configure a default value or a fallback when using DC currently?

If not I’d appreciate that you consider this as a feature request.

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully there isn’t an option to add a default value or fallback when using the Dynamic Content. We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
