Duplicate H1 removal

Hi,

On this site: www.faxebugttandklinik - there is a duplicate H1’s - as with all other X theme installations (why do you keep that?).

Well… I’m about to remove it. I’ve made a new _brand.php file, and I’m about to upload to wp-content\themes\x-child\framework\views\global - but the folder doesn’t exist.

What to do?

Hi There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Thanks.

Here’s the details:

Hi There,

Sorry for the confusion here. Yes, you need to create the folder structure inside your child theme first.
/x-child/framework/legacy/cranium/headers/views/global/

Then create the file _brand.php file with the following code:

<?php

// =============================================================================
// VIEWS/GLOBAL/_BRAND.PHP
// -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Outputs the brand.
// =============================================================================

$site_name        = get_bloginfo( 'name' );
$site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description' );
$logo             = x_make_protocol_relative( x_get_option( 'x_logo' ) );
$site_logo        = '<img src="' . $logo . '" alt="' . $site_description . '">';

?>

<a href="<?php echo home_url( '/' ); ?>" class="<?php x_brand_class(); ?>" title="<?php echo $site_description; ?>">
  <?php echo ( $logo == '' ) ? $site_name : $site_logo; ?>
</a>

Hope that helps :slight_smile:
