Dropdown sub-menu appearing far lower than it should

I am having an issue with a drop down menu for the secondary navigation on my homepage. It appears a good 100-150 pixels lower than it should, when really it should be flush with the bottom of the header. Is there an option im missing or some CSS I can append to fix this?

Hello @derekfreedesign,

Thanks for writing in!

Please add following CSS and let us know how it goes:

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > li ul {top: 85px;}

Thanks.

I am still having the same issue. Here is another screenshot with the CSS on the left shown.

Hi There,

Please try with this CSS instead:

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > li ul {top: 15px;}

You can adjust the 15px to move up the submenu.

Regards!

Yeah, still having the same problem. The strange part is it it only affected like this when the header is ‘in line’, not when it’s stacked.

Hi There,

The issue is a result of the following custom CSS:

  .masthead-inline .x-navbar .sub-menu {
    margin-top: 80px;
    left: 0 !important;
}

That margin top on that custom CSS cause the submenu to move down. Feel free to remove that. Hope this helps.

Cheers.
