Dropdown menus not working (after update?)

Hi, The dropdown menus (desktop and mobile) and the scroll down anchor (on the top slider) on my site have stopped working.

I’ve tried disabling plugins, reinstalling the theme, switching from child to main X, purging caches, and can’t think of anything else. I tested the menu in Twenty Fourteen and it worked fine. Thanks for your help.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for reaching out.

It appears due to optimization, please clear your caches and disable any optimization plugin and test it again. And please turn off your CloudFlare’s the code are executed in incorrect order. Like the parallax code, it’s called first even before the required library is loaded.

If it’s still the same, then please provide your admin login credentials in the secure note, and your CloudFlare’s login credentials as well.

Cheers!

Hello Steve,

I have logged in to your site. The sub menu now displays in most pages. It does not display in the homepage because there is a JS error. It may have come from the RevSlider. Please check your Javascript settings in your slider. The slider resources must only be loaded when there is a slider on the page and not globally.

Please check your site now.

Thanks for your help. I deactivated the RevSlider and now the menu is working on all pages. But of course I need the plugin activated, since there are many sliders on the site. If possible, can you let me know how to check the Javascript settings on the slider and how to load the settings only on the page and not globally?

Hi Steve,

Please navigate to Slider Revolution > Global Settings, turn Off the Include Libraries Globally and add each page IDs on the field below it.

Cheers!

Thanks for this suggestion, but it does not appear to be working for me. With the Include Libraries Globally turned off and with homepage added to the list (I tried the page ID as well), the sliders are not loading on the page and the menu does not work. Can you check into this again?

Hi, I have discovered the problem. There’s a conflict with the Content Views plugin. Disabling the plugin gets the menu and scroll down anchor working just fine.

I am very sorry I did not discover this before asking for your help. I thought I had tried disabling all plugins before posting on the forum.

FWIW, this is the second problem I’ve had with Content Views recently. The other is discussed here:

Thank you again for your help.

Hey Steve,

You are most welcome.
It’s good to know that you have figured out the cause of the issue.

Cheers.
