Is there a way to control the fade in speed (or remove the animation altogether) for the sub menus on the inline menu element?
Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding,
Is the drop down menu fade animation controlled by CSS?
Hello @wbgTHEMECO,
Thanks for updating the thread.
To an extent you can play with the dropdown menu animation using CSS but please note that it might give you issues and break the flow of website down the line. As my colleague mentioned, it will require some custom development work which falls outside the scope of support we can offer.
Having said that, you can take a look at following resource and CSS property to get started:
https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_transitions.asp
https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_transition-delay.asp
Here’s a codepen snippet that you can also take a look:
Thanks.
Would be a nice feature to allow control of the fade in and out feature of the dropdown menus, or just be able to turn it off completely. The long delay causes an overlap that makes the submenus hard to read even if only briefly.
Hello Brenda,
Thanks for sharing the input.
I have taken this as a feature request and have added into our internal issue tracker. While I can’t promise that it will get implemented as it also depend on the demand from the community members, rest assured our developers will take a look.
For latest product or update announcements, you can check the changelog page.
Thanks.
I’d like to see it as a feature as well
