Hello. I am using the latest release and all the latest WP core files. the dropdown menu is not working or mobile menu. I disabled the plugins, still same issue. I switched to another theme to test and they worked. I am also aware one of my plugins is causing a functions error but when this is disabled, still the same dropdown problem is there, so this is a separate issue. i looked through the forums, no solution there. the site is trulittlehero.com

I understand that you deactivated the plugins but it looks like you didn’t deactivate all plugins. I checked your site and I see an Javascript error coming from a third-party plugin. Javascript conflicts/errors could halt other Javascript made functions to work and the mobile menu is one of them.
Please deactivate your lightbox plugin and if that doesn’t work, deactivate all third-party plugins to test. Once you’ve found the conflicting plugin, please contact its plugin author to fix the plugin.
