We haven’t done any theme updates for about 3 years until a few days ago we have finally updated the theme and other related to it plugins to the last version.
However, after the update, the drop-down menus in the website navigation tab have stopped working. Would could be the reason for that happening and how it could be fixed? I’m not too technical, so I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

For some reason, it sometimes starts to work and then stops again after a while. Also, it can work on one computer and at the same time, it wouldn’t work on another computer. The cache clearance didn’t work in this case. So we weren’t able to solve the problem.

Please keep in mind that since you have installed a caching plugin W3 TotalCache, please clear your plugin cache and regenerate the minified JS/CSS files before testing your site after every updates. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately.
You may need to clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again. If clearing the cache does not help, please temporarily disable your W3 Total Cache plugin and test your site again.
