Hi, I’ve setup our site so that drop down menus are used on mobiles rather than the text but it doesn’t appear to be working. I’ve had a couple of people look at it on their phones.

Thanks for writing around! I checked your site and I see the content on your site is being served by the cache, please clear all caches including browser cache and server cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
Also test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I’ve cleared everything and disabled the SG Supercacher - this is part of our hosting package, designed to optimise the site’s performance, turning it off has made no difference. I also disabled everything else I could but it made no difference.

So can you explain what Content Scrolling is? On the phone it wouldn’t slide across so we could see the whole footer or header menu so I thought it might activate that - before I figured out changing it to a drop down nav on small screens.

It’s to enable scrolling of your header if its content is bigger than the bar itself. The best example is a left navbar (similar to a sidebar) and its vertical content is too long and in order to navigate to the end of the content, you’ll have to enable content scrolling. So when you use your mouse middle key (scroll up and down), it will follow.
