Drop-cap issue on Excerpt

Hello there,

There seems like a bug on dropcap shortcode.

Here is how my text looks like, but on excerpt,

This is what I am getting! “H” term is omitted.

Can you help me to fix this, it looks quite odd! Especially on an educational site!

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s not a bug, a dropcap is HTML code and not just a text. And Wordpress generate an excerpt, it make sure the outputted content are just code, no HTML, CSS, JS, and shortcodes.
