Drawing Metadata To An Icon From Two Sources

Hi,

I already have an Off Canvas Cart on a client’s website. The Cart brings through metadata to show the number of icons in the cart (see screenshots. However, I have an unusual situation thanks to the client’s requirement for two shops on the same website, as each one processes payments to a different bank account. Not an ideal situation!

To achieve this, I have had to create the second shop on a subdomain. Both the main site and subdomain look identical and interact seamlessly. However, the one area there is a problem is the cart.

My question is, is it possible to somehow combine the items in cart numbers, as shown below. In other words, draw the totals from both Woocommerce shops and combine them as a full total?

My plan would be to replace the Off Canvas Cart with an icon which looks similar, but is actually an Content Area Modal, which contains two Off Canvas Carts, one for each website.

Any ideas?!!

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for reaching out.

Regretfully, this a customization and it is beyond the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Hope that helps and thank you for understanding.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the reply. That is what I expected! However, is what I am asking for possible?

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

For my point of view, I guess this is doable but you need to consult with a developer with so much knowledge about the said issue.

Thank you.
