Drag & Drop Interface Very Slow | Selecting Text Elements Glitchy

Greetings, I’m a developer who manages 15+ XTheme websites. For some reason on the site to which this current account is attached, I have noticed the Cornerstone drag and drop interface becoming very sluggish in the past 2 months. It takes a long time to load a page in Cornerstone also.

Sometimes I won’t even be able to select text elements and will have to either refresh the page or edit the text via the option on the left (in the styles area). It has been taking me many times longer to make simple text edits due to the slowness and the glitch where I can only edit text sometimes.

Yes, I have done a conflict test and am running the latest version of X-Theme (8.3.3) / Cornerstone (5.3.3)

Hi Zach,

Thank you for writing in, please reinstall the X and Cornerstone to make sure nothing on the X and Cornerstone is corrupted, then Purge All the Cloudflare cache directly on the Cloudflare dashboard (not via plugin).

Also, test the site on your browser’s private/incognito mode where there is no browser extension involve, it could be one of your browser extensions is interfering.

Another thing, please make sure your WordPress is up to date.
