Downgrade theme version or Trouble Fix

Hello,

Since the new patch : 5.2.2 and 5.2.3 i have some of strange behaviour.

In cornerstone interface, i tried to add some line breaks through visual editor by pressing “enter key” and it didn’t work.
It seems like i have to use code editor and put those
to make it work.
I would really like to fix it.

I even tried to create a new page, add an text element and write some lorem ipsum in it then save.
Nothing apeared, the page is empty. Tried to change the text color, but doesnt matter expecially cuz the space is empty. It doesnt consider any text there. In oppositin, i tried to add an image and it worked.

However, when i go through chrome console i can find my text, as if it was settled to an hidden css.

Is there any chance we can rollback to the 5.1.1 version ? I know it is advised to always use the lastest version especially about wordpress core compatibily.

Hi,

Can you provide us your site url so we can take a closer look.

Please note that when updating the theme you also need to update cornerstone.

The latest version numbers are

X Theme 5.2.3
Cornerstone 2.1.4

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Thanks

hello,

thanks here are my personnal informations (url)

Hi @Huber,

Latest updates for fixes is released already.

X Theme: | Latest Supported Version: 5.2.5
Pro: | Latest Supported Version: 1.2.5
Cornerstone: | Latest Supported Version: 2.1.7

Update your setup to the latest version. It might help you fixing it.

Please try other solutions as well because not only text element is not working.

  • Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
  • If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  • Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Please check with your hosting also. WordPress recommends either PHP v5.6.x or v7.1.x to avoid incompatibility issues.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
