Double H1 per Page

Hi there

As I have each H1 section for Desktop and Mobile (each hidden in the other case), Yoast SEO tells me, this is a problem for Google search.

How can I avoid this problem without loosing my H1 for Google Desktop-search and my H1 für Google Mobile- search?

Thanks for reaching out!

As best practices, there should only be one H1 per page. I suggest that you change one of the H1 either on the desktop or mobile to H2 and just styling it like an H1.

Thank you very much for your reply and your good advice! Ok, I will change the Mobile H1 to H2 but with the look of H1.

But will this not affect the Google search results for Mobile Google search?

sorry to bother you again, but now I have set the Mobile H1 to H2 and Yoast still thells me, there is more than one H1.
I can’t find any other H1 on my pages than the main headline. Is there a possibility to test or filter all H1 texts on my website?

Hi Felix,

I just check your account and you had so many websites on it, would you mind sharing the website URL so that we can check on it?

In the meantime, you can try viewing your website source code by following this one.

Once you are on the view page source, just click ctrl + F and search for this keyword <h1to check the available h1 on your website.

Thank you very much fpr your reply. The specific landing page would be https://showmyproject.ch/webagentur-basel-showmyproject/

But you are right; if I check the sourch code searching for <h1 only 1/1 results are shown for the main healine of this page.

So I better ask Yoast, why their programm telling me with a red dot to check multiple H1 on this page.
