Hello -

I’m experiencing a double footer on a fully up-to-date version of Pro. I see that others have experienced this issue, but none of the solutions presented is helping me so far. Could someone take a look, please?

Hello Jenni,

Thanks for writing in! how did you updated the Pro theme? Did you do it manually by re uploading the latest theme files? To resolve this, please do the following:

  • Please login to your ftp and browse to the themes folder wp-content/themes/
  • Create a new folder name as pro-new
  • Upload the latest Pro theme files in the pro-new folders
  • After everything is uploaded, renamed pro folder into pro-old.
  • Renamed pro-new folder into pro.
  • Delete the pro-old folder.

I checked your website and see that the Pro Theme folder naming convention is a bit odd. Can yo please please rename to pro? https://cl.ly/1L1E0x1r2r28

Also please share the website and FTP login details in a secure note for us to take a closer look.

Renamed to Pro and broke the site. It’s back to pro-4 Have a look at the site and sFTP, please.

I have installed a fresh copy of Pro Theme on your website. I renamed pro-4 folder to pro-4_old and then installed a new copy of Pro Theme and that has resolved the double footer problem. https://cl.ly/431J1h280r1U

You have the option to delete pro-4_old folder if it’s not required.

Please clear browser cache and then try accessing the website.
