Hi there,

This one is really weird issue, when I add double quotes it becomes comma when displayed.

Could you try using HTML entities instead if using those characters directly, example, instead of adding " you can add ". I tried that works.

You may check other characters from this reference https://dev.w3.org/html5/html-author/charref

Thanks!

Hy,
Thank your for checking it and find a “Solution”.
But i need to say it isn’t clean as i want to have and very troublesome :frowning:
Allready no other HTML entities works here like ” or “ or something like this.
Is there a chance to get a neat Solution?

Regards

// edit
i’ve deactivate all Addons, cCornerstone as well, the Problerm allready exist.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, I did not understand exactly what you mean? Did the solution of my colleague work or not? In general, it is always recommended that you use the HTML escape characters such as the ones my colleague suggested for demonstration purposes and avoiding the conflict between the code and text.

I also suggest that you add a new page and change the theme to something else and use the normal Wordpress editor to see how it acts. We do the same in the Text Element.

Thank you.

Hallo,
i mean the colleague Solution works, but only this one, nothing else.
No other HTML entities like „ or “, this is the only one ” !
And this „Love" has another meaning instead of “Love”, you know what i want to say?

I’ve tried it with new pages and switch the Theme, only with another Theme it works perfectly with HTML entities and without them, only by typing the " „ e.g.

I only want to use one uppercae and lowercase for sentence like this: „Schmölln" e.g. in my Page, thats what i’m looking for and ask the Support.
Sorry for the inconveniences.

Regretfully, there’s no solution but to use HTML entities. This doesn’t happen in my test sites so this is not entirely an issue with X but also something in your WordPress setup is causing this.

Thank you for understanding.

This is the Point where my Porblem exist.
I have no glue why this problem is there and where it came from…

However, any Solution for a fast rebuild of this site with the existing Content?

Greetings

Hi There,

I really tried to check for the cause of the issue though I can’t find anything suspicious. This is the only one I found that is related: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/quotation-marks-facing-wrong-way.
