Doing staging site migration to the live site, want to set "Site under construction" mode

Hello,

I am doing the staging site migration. I will use WP Staging Pro plugin for this purpose. Just in case i would like to set the site under construction mode. Could you please let me know how I should do it in this case? Shall i set it first to the staging page and then start the migration, and when the staging site is moved to the live it will have the under-construction page?

Hello @DamiraT

Since the Under Construction mode only shows for logged out users, I suggest that you turn this on before you transfer.

You can then check permalinks and website once you have transferred and then turn off Under Construction when you are happy.

Yes you can do that. This really just depends on you. Others don’t use the under construction and just updates the live site right away.
