Displaying category descriptions

Hi there

I’ve been looking to simply add category descriptions to my category pages.

Is there a simple and clear way to do this ?

I’ve read this is not possible with x ??? How is that even possible ?
This has not to be so complicated with a theme like yours as this is a really important key feature if you want
to optimize your seo (for example) avoiding duplicate content.

I’m ready to edit my files adding some actions or anything else …

Is it possible to have any help for this ?

Thanks for posting in.

It’s possible but may require a bit of snippet depending on the active stack. Please provide your site’s URL so I could check, but, if you wish to add the description regardless of landmark then you may follow this

Add Description at the end of Tag or Category Pages

And instead of this x_after_view_global__index, you will have to change it to this x_before_view_global__index
