Displayed text differs from text on page

I have checked the articles on the Forum but have not found a solution.
I went to Edit Page for my Contact page and changed the text. However, when I preview the page, I see the old text i.e. the text from before I changed it.
I have spent several days trying to figure out what is wrong with no success. Actually, I copied and changed a sample page from Themeco. I had changed the map and text when I first copied the sample page, but now I cannot change the text.
I would very much appreciate any help you could give me.
I will send a separate secure note with the website info in case you need it
Thank you
Bill

Hi Bill,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your contact page and it had an extra closed </span> tag which didn’t have an opening tag (see screenshot)

I went ahead and removed the extra closed tag and now your contact page is saving just fine. Invalid or orphaned HTML tags usually breaks the builder so always make sure to properly close all HTML tags to avoid such issues.

Also I’ve noticed you’ve been using Elementor plugin, please deactivate Elementor plugin and use Cornerstone to create pages instead to avoid potential errors and conflicts.

Hope this helps!

Hello Nabeel
I am sorry but I went to Edit Page for the contact page. Somehow it contained the old text. I had changed and updated it to the new text before I posted this to the Forum. But now it is the old text again. When I just changed it to the new text and clicked on Update, it still shows the old text in the Preview
So, it appears that it still has the problem of not being able to be edited. When I go to Edit Page, I see the new text but when I click on Preview I see the old text.
I would appreciate it if you could please take another look at his.
Thank you
Bill

Hello Bill,

I am seeing this on your contact page.

I went ahead and edited the page. I have inserted an empty section. The section is displaying on the live view of the page.

Kindly logged out in your browser and log in again before testing the page again in Cornerstone.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Works GREAT!
Thank you very much. I spent days trying to get this to work. I didn’t know that a tag problem could cause such a big problem so I learned something.
Thank you again
Bill

Glad that we could be of help.

Cheers!
