Display product-amount in category as dynamic content

I got stuck trying to achieve something that should not be too difficult. Unfortunately, my inspiration has ended. I’m trying to create a field to display after the category-name that holds the number of products in this category., like in the example below.

The category is displayed by a navigation layered menu. I just can’t find the DC that pulls in this amount. It is there already, being displayed in the shop sort element. See the example: https://evolinestore.com/store/product-category/evoline-systems/evoline-backflip/

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi Ruud,

Thanks for reaching out.
Regretfully, there is no such dynamic content option to show the product count of a specific category. And the section mentioned in the screenshot is coming from the WooCommerce archive template and nothing related to the DC.

Thanks for understanding

Hello @tristup,

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, I see. This is of course not dramatic, but it would be a nice addition to our product archive page.
Maybe something to add as a feature request?

At this time we have our product archive about 98% feature complete, which of course is great with the many new options in the layout builder. Unfortunately, there are still quite some Woo features / Woo-DC missing to completely design the product pages that we are using (simple, variable, composite product types).

Things like DC for product swatches and attributes are missing or not flexible enough usable. A broader selection of options for the product image gallery element etc. Of course, I understand that this is the 1st release of the layout builder, I’m hoping for more detailed content for especially Woo elements/details.

Maybe you could put up some kind of wishlist…? That way you could reward the most requested features? Just an idea

Hello Ruud,

Your feedback has been noted. I have added your feedback to our list of feature requests already. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

Thanks!

Thanks Rue, appreciated.

You are most welcome @ruudvanbeek
