Display Posts Template

Hi after a lot of hard work, I figured Display-Posts delivers more than Essential Grid. I am using Display-Posts shortcode to display posts in my pages and summary-posts.

What is an easy way for me to change in one place the parameters that I pass to the shortcodes? For example, I might decide later i want to change, “Read more…” to 'Learn more…"

How do I do that? Do I have to write php or use template blocks (I am not familiar with either)?

Hello Ravi,

Thanks for writing in! As far as I know we do not have Display Post shortcode. Are you using a plugin? Which plugin is it? I think it is best that you reach out the creators of the plugin that you are using. They are more familiar with it and should be able to give your answer to your inquiries.

Best Regards.

The plugin in called Display-posts. My question I want to put the shortcode for the plugin inside a template and pass it parameters. That way I do not have to repeat the shortcode all over the place (the shortcode gets long) and then I will have only one place to change it, instead of updating it in all the pages.

Hello Ravi,

You can always insert a shortcode in the template or even in a text element. You can do it in X/ Pro > Global Blocks. Those parameters for the shortcode that you want is a different story then. It is best that you contact the creators of the plugin. The are the best suited person to respond to your questions.

Thank you for your understanding.
