Display of only certain blog post categories does not work

Hi!

I have created 5 different blog posts. 4 of them are in the category “Foto” and 1 is in the category “Privat”. In my layout for the blog archive I have set the conditions Blog is being viewed and category is not Privat, but the blog post in the category “Privat” still shows.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, I do not want blog posts in the category “Privat” to be displayed on the start page where I use Posts element. Is this possible, to exclude blog posts from a specific category in this element?

Thanks for reaching out.

In your blog layout builder to exclude the posts with Privat category, you need to enable the Looper Provider of your posts element then click Query Builder as type.

The next thing you will do is exclude the “Privat” category using the taxonomy options and after choosing it, the private category is not excluded in your blog layout.

On the other hand, on your front page. To remove the “Privat” Category, you also need to use the “Query Builder” as the Looper Provider type then exclude the “Privat” category like the example above.
