Discrepancies with Typography Settings vs Text Element Settings

Hello!

Loving V4! Anyway, I’m working on a site and have set Nunito 300-book as my body font in Theme Options > Typography. I have added a text element on my home page, set it to Nunito 300-book, yet it shows up on the site more like 400. Weird. So I change the Typography body setting to another font and refresh the page, now the Nunito looks as it should. I’ve attached two screen shots (combined in 1 photo) to better demonstrate this, changing from 300 to 200 to make it more apparent that the font is not showing correctly.

I test this out with different fonts and get the same result: when I set a font using Theme Options > Typography for the body, and then I use that font in a text element on a page, it will not appear correctly.

I have cleared my cache and refreshed everything. Disabled plugins, etc. I’m using Pro 4.0.10. Everything up to date. The site is currently here: http://anomaly.thewebhamster.com/

Hi Katie,

Thanks for reaching out.
We have already released another point version of the theme i.e 4.0.11, I would suggest you update the Pro to the latest one and check if the issue resolves. If the does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Hello Katie,

Thanks for updating in! I have compared your font size to the Google font site and it seems the same.
This is what I am seeing:

Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.
