Discrepancies between Cornerstone and live website

Hello, I’m noticing some discrepancies between my Cornerstone view and website. On Cornerstone, my page looks the way I have intended it to, but on the live website it doesn’t. Please see below:


  1. Image on the left is what I see in Cornerstone (and the way I want it) and image on right is what I see on the live page. I do not know how to get rid of the yellow lights background, as I cannot see it in Cornerstone.


  1. Image on left is what I see in Cornerstone (and the way I want it) but in live view, the 4th column is pushed to the next line…


  1. I’m using the revolution slider to display logos; how do I center it on the page? I have all its settings set to center and tried centering it with CSS, yet it is still floating to the very left of the page.


4. My parallax images are also not working in live view (I've tested it with several browsers) but they are working in Cornerstone...

Thanks for writing in.

First, there could be a lot of display discrepancies between cornerstone and live because of the panel of the Cornerstone however the looks would be similar.

In this case, so we could compare your setup live and cornerstone view, share us your admin credentials so we could check your setup further. Don’t forget to set it in a secure note.

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have checked the page and it turns out that some of your sections do not have any columns and this has resulted to an issue of the preview and the live view.

Please edit your page back in Cornerstone and make sure that you section has a row and columns.

Hello, thank you for your suggestion. I tried adding columns and now it works :slight_smile:
Would you happen to know how I can fix my other remaining issues (column inconsistency, logo slider not centered, and parallax not working)? I have checked and made sure they all have columns.

Hi there,

The columns inconsistency seems to be a result of the problem that you added the page with a very old version of the Cornerstone which results to the Classic Sections as you can see in the screenshot my colleague gave. Try to recreate the pages using the new version which you will have the new set of sections and rows and columns and there will be no inconsistency.

Regarding the Revolution Slider. The p[roblem is the width if the carousel, in some place which I am not sure where you set a static width for the slider which causes the issue. You need to add a percentage based width.
