Disappearing text and other elements while editing in Cornerstone

Hi,

Since updating to 7.1.2 I’m experiencing disappearing text and other elements while editing in Cornerstone. It seems to happen particularly while editing text. See the attached image:

Is this a known bug?

Hello Michael,

Thanks for writing in! In most case, this is because Cornerstone is not up to date. Could you please update to the latest versions? Our latest versions are:
- X theme 7.1.2
- Cornerstone 4.1.2

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

@RueNel, I already updated to the latest version of Cornerstone, I did so when I updated X - and I emptied all caches several times when I did the update and afterwards.

To be clear, this problem occurs on X 7.1.2 and Cornerstone 4.1.2

My first thought was that it might be the CSS Hero plugin, but having now disabled that plugin, the problem still occurs:

On further inspection this seems to be related to Safari. Are you aware of any issues with Cornerstone and Safari?

Hello Michael,

There are several other experiencing some issues when using Safari. The builder doesn’t seem to load properly when you use Safari. Please use Chrome or Firefox browser instead and see if you experience the same.
